In keeping with his feeling of celebration and service and to celebrate Chad’s life with an afternoon of fellowship for a purpose, some of Chad’s closest friends and family organize an annual charitable golf outing in Chad’s honor. This year the event was held on June 17 at Crooked Tree Golf Course. At the MYO August Board meeting, John Nordstrom and Craig Cange generously presented a check in the amount of $4,000 to the Mason Youth Organization (MYO) representing the event’s proceeds. The MYO Board, on behalf of the over 1,650 youth who participate in our baseball and softball programs, would like to extend its sincere thanks and appreciation to Chad’s friends, family and all who participated in this wonderful event. MYO, in cooperation with the Chad Geiger Memorial leadership, have earmark this generous donation to providing new dugout benches at Heritage Oak Park.
