MYO 2010 Fall Ball Baseball Program

The focus of the MYO Fall Ball season is to provide enjoyment and instruction of the game of baseball. More time will be spent to help develop proper skills and techniques for the players, not necessarily for teams to win games.

  • Winning, while fun, is not the primary goal. Playing well and marked improvement between the first game and the end of the season is the real barometer of MYO Fall Ball success.

  • The encouragement level should be kept high and positive reinforcement should be accentuated.

  • Scores are not kept/reported and standings are not maintained.

Note: All players should be contacted by their coach by August 8th.

Teams will play a 7 game schedule beginning August 29th, 2010. There will be no games scheduled during Labor Day weekend. The games will be played on Sundays at either the Heritage Oak Park, Cottell Park, or Mason Sports Park fields.

Other game dates: 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, & 10/17.

Directions to the parks can be found at:

  • Player registration will open June 15th and regular registration will close July 15th

  • Late registration will take place up to August 21st or until full

MYO wants to make our Fall Baseball program as fun as possible and teams will be formed with these objectives in mind:

  • Entire teams can register to play together as a team

  • Players can request to be placed on the same team they played for in the Spring (as long as their coach and/or other players also register to participate)

  • Players can request to be placed on the same team with friends and neighbors

  • Players who sign up without requesting a team, coach, friend, etc., will be randomly placed on a team by the Fall Ball Commissioners

  • Players may request to play up in the next older age division

  • Special requests will be honored as much as possible but not guaranteed

  • MYO offers no guarantee of team placement
