Sponsors

MYO sponsorship is a great opportunity for companies and local organizations to show their support for the youth of Mason and Deerfield Township.   Not only will your company benefit by way of advertising, but you will also have the intangible benefit of demonstrating your community support.  The cost to sponsor a team is $200.  Your company name and logo will be printed on the front of the player's shirt and you will receive a team picture plaque at the end of the year thanking you for your support.  We will also display your company name and provide a link to your company web site on this web page and distribute a coupon sheet or flyer, if supplied in advance by you, about your business to MYO families at the beginning of the season.

Last year, we had just over 1,800 players on 152 baseball/softball teams.  Sponsorships are on a first come/first served basis and will be accepted until 2/15/08.

Chad Geiger Memorial Golf Outing - On May 18, 2003 our community lost a promising and passionate young man.  In keeping with his feeling of celebration and service and to celebrate Chad’s life with an afternoon of fellowship for a purpose, some of Chad’s closest friends and family organize an annual charitable golf outing in Chad’s honor.  This year the event was held on June 17 at Crooked Tree Golf Course.  At the MYO August Board meeting, John Nordstrom and Craig Cange generously presented a check in the amount of $4,000 to the Mason Youth Organization (MYO) representing the event’s proceeds.  The MYO Board, on behalf of the over 1,650 youth who participate in our baseball and softball programs, would like to extend its sincere thanks and appreciation to Chad’s friends, family and all who participated in this wonderful event.  MYO, in cooperation with the Chad Geiger Memorial leadership, have earmark this generous donation to providing new dugout benches at Heritage Oak Park.
