Become a CoachUpdated Friday June 23, 2017 by Mason Youth Organization.
Being a manager or coach requires time, patience, and basic knowledge of the game of baseball. You may be asked to attend meetings and training clinics. You will communicate with the parents/guardians of your players to inform them of any schedule changes, rainouts, and Little League events and activities.
Here is a great article about the Coach's Role lin Little League.
MYO is always seeking volunteers to coach, especially at the younger ages, and typically offers coach clinics to help coaches get started and give them tips and ideas for running a fun and effective season. Coach registration is typically open along with player registration each season. Please see the attachment below for information on how to register and requirements for being an MYO coach for Mason Little League, Challenger or Softball Leagues. In addition to those requirements, acll coaches are required to complete concussoin training.
Please check back during open registration or e-mail one of our board members if you are interested in volunteering as a coach.
