The Mason Aftershock is a tournament / select baseball organization that is affiliated with the Mason Youth Organization.   We have 10 Aftershock teams currently in the program, ranging from 8U to 16U.  Aftershock teams play a highly competitive schedule between 25 -40 baseball games, which includes 2 -4 tournaments per team.   The teams begin the season with indoor training in February and Summer Season ends mid July.

Our coaches have significant baseball experience, including former High School and College baseball players.  Our focus is to teach the boys the solid fundamentals of baseball and improve their skills every practice, every game and every season.   We want to prepare our baseball players for high school ball, let them enjoy the game and make great friendships that can be maintained through school and the Mason area.

See the table below for tryount dates and locations for each team and age group.   Email the  Aftershock President if you have any questions.

For teams with two tryout dates listed, players only need to attend one of the sessions.

Why Choose Aftershock?

There are many great baseball programs in the area, and they all offer high levels of training and competition. So what sets Aftershock apart from the rest?

1. Friendships!
Aftershock teams primarily consist of Mason area kids. 95% of all Aftershock players are Mason and Deerfield residents. That means these kids grow up together, go to school together, and many played Mason Little League rec ball together before joining the Aftershock program. The close knit bond strengthens team comradely and grows long lasting friendships!

2. Low Cost!
Because the Aftershock program is affiliated with Mason Youth Organization, we are able to keep costs low. In fact, our fees are less than HALF of what many other select baseball organizations charge their players.

3. Little League World Series!
While all of the Aftershock teams play a lot of competitive games and area tournaments, many of the teams also choose to play a Little League schedule. This allows those players to be eligible to tryout and compete in the Little League District Tournament, with hopes and dreams of success and eventually advancing to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA!
