USED EQUIPMENT DRIVE
Sports Equipment DriveThe Kiwanis Club of Mason, in partnership with the Mason Challenger League, will be hosting a used sports equipment drive on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Makino Park.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The public is encouraged to bring their outgrown and gently used sports equipment including items such as shoes, gloves, balls, bats, tennis rackets, hockey/lacrosse sticks, and more! All sports accepted. Donations will be benefit Mason Challenger athletes and local youth athletes in need.
While at the park, check out the inclusive Common Ground playground and the FC Soccer Mini-Pitch. These unique amenities were designed to create an environment for children and adults of all abilities to interact and play together. Representatives from Mason Challenger League will also be on site to provide information and answer questions about the Adaptive Ball Fields at Makino Park, Phase II of construction at the park. This phase includes two adaptive baseball fields designed to remove barriers so athletes with physical and developmental disabilities can play the game of baseball like their typical peers.
We hope to see you out at Makino Park on Saturday, April 16!
